Description
Swallow Cottage was once part of a traditional Scottish style farm steading. For full details,photos and virtual tours of all our properties please visit our website. The barn is tastefully converted to provide comfortable centrally heated accommodation with large open plan living/kitchen area with large woodburner. Downstairs walk- in shower . Upstairs two large bedrooms and toilet with wash hand basin. The cottage overlooks the river Deveron and Kinairdy Casle. From the cottage there are walks through our wood to the river and across surrounding fields. Swallow Cottage provides guests with the ideal base to explore this lovely part of the North East of Scotland. Local towns like Huntly,Turriff and Banff have a range of supermarkets,shops and eateries. The coast with lovely fishing villages, sandy beaches (surfing at Sandend)and also rugged cliffs is just a short drive away. Head the other way and within an hour drive you are in the Grampian and Cairngorm mountains. We are also on the Whisky and Castle Trail. Glendronach distillery 5 minutes and Glenfiddich 30 minutes drive away. For less then full occupancy and short break prices please phone or email us. Please note: We accept up to two well behaved pets by arrangement @ £30,.per dog per week.We can also provide wifi suitable for email. browsing and social media (no downloads or Netflix,sorry)@ £15,.per week.This can be paid on arrival. |
